How to retrieve your gem from your candle

When you receive your candle, light it and enjoy the beautiful scent until the foil appears (this should take approximately 2 to 4 hours). Once the foil is exposed (ensure that the foil is exposed enough to remove from the wax without force),blow out the candle and remove the foil from wax using tweezers or tongs. Place the foil on a paper towel and dab any excess wax. If the foil feels hot, let it sit for a minute to cool, then open and remove the plastic bag to uncover your gift.

How to maintain your candle once you have retrieved your gem

Wood or cotton wick should be trimmed and kept at or around 1/4 inch to avoid your candle from smoking. Your candle should only be burned for 3 to 4 hours per use. Never burn your candle unattended while sleeping or too close to children and pets. Your candle should be placed and lit only on a flat heat-resistant surface.  After blowing out your candle, allow time for cooling before moving your candle to prevent damage or injury from wax spillage.

Our candles are made with natural soy wax. Our products do not contain unnatural additives.

How to clean your glass jar once the candle is finished

We recommend cleaning out any excess wax, removing all stickers, and cleaning the jar with soap and warm water.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged based on the purchaser’s state. Sales tax is displayed during checkout as an estimate and labeled accordingly.

Shipping

The risk of loss and title for all products purchased by you and shipped by Flicker Fancy pass to you upon Flicker Fancy’s delivery to the carrier for delivery by the carrier to your specified delivery address. The risk of loss and title for all products purchased by you and shipped directly by one of Flicker Fancy’s vendors pass from such vendor to you upon such vendor’s delivery to the carrier for delivery by the carrier to your specified delivery address. Notwithstanding the agreement that risk of loss for any package passes to you upon delivery to the carrier, to accommodate our customers, Flicker Fancy will assume responsibility for any damage due to shipping provided that Flicker Fancy receives a notice of claim within three (3) days of receipt of the shipment to your specified delivery address. Flicker Fancy’s assumption of responsibility for damage or loss in transit terminates if a claim is not timely received by Flicker Fancy. In any event, Flicker Fancy’s responsibility is limited to either replacement of the merchandise or at Flicker Fancy’s sole option, return of the purchase price and shipping charges.

Returns

All products are thoroughly inspected prior to shipping. Please contact our customer service department within three (3) days of receiving your order to report any issues. Pictures may be requested for investigation of damage. Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. Items deemed damaged during shipping will be replaced when possible. Flicker Fancy’s assumption of responsibility for damage terminates if a claim is not received within three (3) days by Flicker Fancy. In any event, Flicker Fancy’s responsibility is limited to either replacement of the merchandise or at Flicker Fancy’s sole option, return of the purchase price and shipping charges. We are not liable for damages due to anything other than shipping.

Each of these policies may be changed from time to time. Also, new topics and/or programs may be added to our website. Changes and/or additions take effect when Flicker Fancy posts them on the website. The above policies and rules are hereby incorporated into this Agreement. Also, any activities and transactions on another internet site linked to Flicker Fancy.com are subject to these terms and conditions and in addition any terms and conditions specified in the linked site. In the event of inconsistencies between the terms and conditions of this site and the linked site, the terms and conditions of the linked site prevail.
